what was the reason you have been Put on AP and how long has it been so far the CO told me too the first part will take a Month but he isn't sure how long maybe 3 to 4 Months though i deem that Average Processing time is 1-6 Months and it Varies Case to case and country to different country in Pakistan AP goes longer than other countries

Adil, I don't know why they do what they do it is so unfair. I remember my husband calling you and asking for advice because you had interview before he did and he has been in America 2 1/2 months now, Mashallah. I am also divorced and we have a little age difference. I think our cases were quite similar, but still my husband got no AP and is here now. I just don't know and it makes me so sad for you and Ameena. I hate to see her hurt because she is my very dear friend and if I could trade places with her to take the pain away, I would. Just keep praying and you will see your visa soon. You know Allah knows the better time for everything. Keep checking because embassy never emailed my husband that he got visa or not, he just got call from AMEX office one day and they said come pick up your passport. So, when it happens you will have a nice surprise.

thanks everybody... we initially had to submit another document which wasn't asked for until the interview... just a letter from the attorney outlining that i dont pay child support etc...

then the CO said we had to go into name checks and it was mandatory ap nothing he could do about that.. so its the normal processing but its still seems to be taking so long... my hearts in pieces and my husband has to pick them up sometimes weekly somtimes daily and piece them back together ...this is really hard.. our marriage is a good one and very loving and respectful i can't live without him forever but right now living without him still hurts...

talean thank you for being there.. you and moshin both.... its hell i can't tell you how much it hurts... i haven't held his hand since mid october 2010.

@immiprocess inshallah i pray your right.. something will happen soon... I cry, im angry, emotional... i love this man more than i never knew possible and yet i feel we are in purgatory.

Ive had two congressional inquiries both saying normal processing of ap and will contact upon completion... DOS says pending ap but recently someone said Under Review.. but it all depends on who answers the call...

Just want to be with him and begin our life in one home in one place...

As I am approaching an interview date, your story and also Carolyn's story scares me to death when I try to think of what will happen next. The feeling of not knowing what will happen next is so very stressful for especially when you have looked your entire life for the person whom you have found only to discover that because of Government protocol and other people's mistakes being together could take much longer than ever dreamed. :(

I pray daily for all of us.
