If I am correct in thinking the Subject Access Report has now been replaced with the Police Certificate. Maybe you are thinkin of the CRB check. Criminal records check, used for employement purposes.

The reason for my question was that I thought that these would have been stepped down on the ACPO Police Certificate which would just say no live trace. At interview, you will need to provide details of all arrests and court appearances so you will need to request the information.

For my K1 interview I just had a letter from Scotland Yard which listed the charge, court date and outcome which meant that I didn't need to get the court records. 4 years later I now need to get these court records, and the arrest details for citizenship which is much more strict.
