Ya Ya Ya

Keep keep finding ways to scam the insurance industry.....

and then everyone bitches because thier insurance rates goes up....

Welcome to the NEW America, where everyone wants to cash in on something instead of excepting personal responsibility for thier own actions. Cashing in is a great concept, just means you hurt the big insurance company, right??? Those costs get passed along to to the rest of us who played by the rules.

SCAM ?????

I don't know WTH you are talking about???

First = If I am planning to SCAM the insurance company. Why Am I go on here to ask for advice, instead going to the lawyer in (Orange County California)

2nd = She is okay, so we didn't plan to go to chiropractic, massage therapy, and ETC. Since we did pay for Medical coverage for our insurance.

Last = FYI, we paid all the fees from her last accident to fixed my old car, and $2500 deductible from my work insurance.

If you are reading my thread and you have no advice. Please read only OR http://www.google.com/imgres?q=zip+your+mouth+pictures&hl=en&safe=active&gbv=2&biw=1202&bih=612&tbm=isch&tbnid=Cg892Q6IxJH8zM:&imgrefurl=http://www.graphicsfactory.com/Clip_Art/Signs-Symbols/PIM0111_166470.html&docid=XexbY0DUOh19RM&imgurl=http://cdn.graphicsfactory.com/clip-art/image_files/image/0/753060-PIM0111.gif&w=300&h=298&ei=fCXpTsigNKGGiQKkp7T8Cw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=62&sig=115550282786705092461&page=1&tbnh=127&tbnw=127&start=0&ndsp=21&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0&tx=82&ty=73

Don't be so touchy...

I read that reply as more of a comment on the whole "You cause the damage to your car and then sue the insurance company for diminished value" idea as being a scam (wither it's legal or not)

I have to say that I'd agree with it, I mean where is taking personal responsibility aside from having to live with the insurance rate increase which will be even larger as you add to the Dollar amount they have to pay as a result fo your or your wife's driving.

Usually you have to sell it as a salvage car about 1/2 the value. I really don't know why people buy salvage, since it could put you or your loved ones in danger on the road or the next time your wife hits someone. Thankfully and hopefully she is okay, the most important thing.

You said that as if all vehicles with salvaged titles are dangerous. Many vehicles go salvaged from a simple hail storm, I'm pretty sure damages from a hail storm wouldn't "put you or you loves on in danger". You just have to be competent enough when picking out a vechile, but just b/c it's salvaged does not mean it's a time bomb.

Don't blame the man for being touchy, he's in a rough spot right now and he doesn't need any non-nonconstructive and seemingly condescending comments from people on their internet high-horse :bonk:

a question comes to mind when i read this thread...why was your wife driving a '10 crv while you were driving a crappy camry? living in socal i encounter small asian women driving big SUVs very badly on a daily basis. they can barely see over the dashboard, they are oblivious to driving laws and still have the mindset of manuevering a small scooter in saigon...it's an assault with a deadly weapon just waiting to happen.

please for the sake of my toddler buy her something sensible next, like a honda civic or toyota corolla. they're compact, reliable, and she won't be able to do too much damage to the other motorists out there. good luck with sorting all the insurance stuff out...i'm just beginning to teach my wife to drive.

Betcha the accident statistics for Asian men are higher than for Asian woman. Driving while oblivious to traffic laws is standard procedure in SoCal.

Hi All,

I need your advice and help please. My wife was involved into car accident 2 weeks ago. It's her fault.

Our insurance estimated $14,000 to fix the car. (Since we owe a Bank $15,000. and we have decided to CASH-OUT, and paid off to the bank).

My question is someone offers only $7,500 to buy off my Honda CRV-EX 2010.

About the damage for Honda CRV.

- Clean title

- Engine is still good, and radiator this working.

- 16,000 mileages.

Damages need to fixes.

- Internal frame, and external frame.

- Bumper, and etc.

- Airbag sensor is not working, and etc...

What you ALL think I should do? If I am deciding to sale the car, what is the best price? Since the engineer is good, and low mileage.

How much do you think I should fix this car?

Here are some pictures.

Thank you so much for your advice and help.

can you clear up one dangling bit for me ? I realize Texas is different, but

once you 'cash out' - who receives title to the vehicle?

Thanks !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Once the insurance pays you for the car the insurance company takes it and auction it off or you have the option to buy it back.
