Greetings to all VJ users !!!

We are going to have our Ist interview for I 485 after couple of days. We just her EAD card.

The question is about I -864 joint sponsor.

While I was filing I 864 couple of months ago, I didnt have enough income to meet FPL. But its been 1 n half month, I found the job I was looking for. Now I make way more than enough what FPL requires. I can show the last 4 paystub as well if required.

on the other side, The joint sponsor I had used earlier lost his job.

So what happens in this scenerio? can i be able to remove joint sponsor from the file while i am there in interview?? If the officer asks for recent paystub from the joint sponsor, I would not be able to show it. how does this impact the overall process of I 485???

I appreciate any help in this regard.

Thank you !!!

If your joint sponsor is no longer employed they are no longer able to sponsor.

In your interview you admit that your sponsor is now unemployed. Submit a new I-864 with your new employer info. Obtain a letter from your employer, take your paystubs (as many as you can). If they don't accept that you will need another joint-sponsor.
