Question: Would a walk-in accelerate issuance of EAD?? If yes, would you say how far ahead of appointment is advisable?

In my case it probably didn't as I got it almost exactly 60 days after submitting AOS package and 2 days before GC interview - but I didn't really needed it since I was adjusting from L-1. But I think there is a chance that in some instances it can speed it up. My take on this is unless someone has 3 hour travel to ASC, why not try it ?

In fairness mine was nearly unsuccessful: my little fingers failed me as they couldn't get any prints from them. Too dry apparently. The woman proceeded to scrape at them vigorously with a credit card (??) Try it yourself if you want to know how painful that is...
