EAD-when does it expires?

Hi guys!

I am not that familiar with what happens after I get to USA, so I was wondering if someone can clear things for me about the EAD.

I know that if you file it before the AOS, then the EAD will expire at the end of the 90 days of the K-1 visa.

If you file it with the AOS is better, right?

My question is-how long can I work with the EAD? When does it expire? Is it till the end of the 2 year conditional rule?

I don't want to be just sitting at home for a long period of time- I'll go nuts!

Thanks a lot to all who will reply!

File it with the AOS. Doing it before is a waste of time and money. It is valid for 1 year or until the green card is issued, then you can work because you have the green card. FWIW in our case, Alla received her green card before she got her EAD. It happens.
