Thanks guys , Your a big help. I am already back in the states . I got back from Korea in September. So we can plan her trip to Manila for a week and get the medical right before she gets her interview? We are setting up our financial packet and adding evidence now. What is the CFO .... Never heard of it T___T More money !

Yes, you can plan a trip to Manila for a week or so and take care of the medical, the CFO seminar, and the interview. Many people complete the medical about a week before the interview, but you can actually complete the medical anytime up to the interview.

The CFO is a counseling seminar for all Filipino fiancées and Filipino spouses who will be traveling to the U.S. (and other countries too). The purpose of the seminar is to tell them what to do if they discover they're hooked up with a crazy. Sarah needs to attend the CFO seminar and get the CFO sticker affixed to her passport before she will be allowed to board her flight to the U.S.

She can attend the seminar either before the interview or after the interview. If she attends the seminar before the interview, she will have to wait and get the sticker after she has the visa in her passport. If she attends seminar after she has the visa in her hand, she can attend the seminar and get the sticker all in one day. The cost of the whole ball of wax is about P650-700.

There are three places that give the seminar. One is in Ermita, Manila, one is in Quezon City, and one is in Cebu. The one in Ermita is called PRISM and the one in Quezon City is St. Marys. Check out the CFO website right here.
