Reminder letter from USCIS for ROC?

I got here in Apr 14 2010, I have read some people get "Reminder letter from USCIS" for Removal of Conditions. I did not receive this letter at all. Is it normal? We are organizing our paperwork, we have around a month to start this process, hoping it is not as "stressful" as the CR-1 visa.

thats true some people get reminder letters some dont.just gather all your evidence to file as jointy, for the last two years living togather,as a bonafide married couple,

ROC should be a breeze for you now. you've been around the immigration block! assemble a strong packet and send off when the window opens. then you wait, but at least you wait together at this point! still happy about that!

(as others said, not everyone gets the letter, but it isnt reflective of anything. except maybe USCIS' inability to get them mailed to the correct people at the correct addresses. i did get a letter, which was a good thing as my life was very hectic then and immigration issues werent at the very front of my mind.)

yes , out of courtesy, they mail reminder letters but the responsibilty to know the date of elibility and take action rests on the beneficiary/petitioner. so I would suggest you get your paperwork ready and send them when the time is due

also, please be sure to file within the 90 window. this window is the 90 days (not three months) before the expiration of your green card. if your card says april 14, 2012, 90 days before that would be january 15, 2012

If you have moved - it might happen to you what happened to me. They sent the reminder letter TWICE to the old address even though we both updated the address long time ago and put our new address on all the ROC papers we sent. I didn't end up getting the reminder letter till well after the start of 90 days to file.

But its not a requirement an its not needed as long as you mark when to file on your calendar like we did.

We got a reminder letter last month so right now we are gathering all the evidences needed to send out hopefully this week.

Your reminder letter might not have been sent yet if your 90 day window doesn't start till next month. We got ours about 3 weeks before we were eligible to file...

Thank you so much to all your responses!!! Yes we are gathering all our documents, yes sure the ROC is a breeze for us, comparing to our CR-1 visa which was a completely nightmare. I grown some gray hairs during the process!! lol. Since I got here Apr 14th 201o, we will send our paperwork 3rd week of January.
