SAVE database

My I-765 application was put on hold as the Texas Service Center sent me a request for evidence. This request took a month to arrive and when it did they are asking for copies of my K-1 visa and I-94 as they claim they have no record of my entry into the country.

Two weeks after I arrived I applied for and got my SSN as all my details were in the SAVE database. My question is do the Service Centers use this same system for arrival records? Could it be possible that USCIS don't have the record or are the Texas Service Center stalling the process (the fact that the letter was supposed sent on the 9th November, didn't show up until the 9th December with a post mark dated 5th December)?

Thanks for any ideas on this.

The SAVE database is a 'cloud' system and all agencies access the same records. Could it be possible they entered the wrong name or number when trying to retrieve the record? or perhaps they want or require a hard copy ?

Here is the contact info for the SAVE help desk. They may be able to verifyt hat the record has been loaded and accesible.:
