Yeah actually I talked my bank into using the passport as (1) ID and the issued US visa (since it has a photo) as the 2nd ID when I added my wife to our account.

They were pretty understanding about the whole thing and just let us know to please add the SS number to the account when the card came in (which was after EAD so almost 4 months later).

Just wanna ask everyone! i just recently go married and we have our Marriage certificate. I already applied for my SSN and still waiting for the card. Been here in the US for 1 months already. My husband wants to add me to his bank account. Is this possible already? I know they need 2 valid ID's..if I can be added, what are the valid ID's which I can bring with us?

Did the OP go to Bank of America? Coz my husband just signed me to his BOA account 2 weeks ago and they only require my Passport, SSN and State ID.

AOS Timeline

11/1/11 - AOS package Delivered

11/7/11 - NOA Received in the mail

11/12/11 - Biometrics Appointment received

11/28/11 - Case transferred to CSC

12/7/11 - Biometrics done

1/2/12 - EAD and AP approved (Card production)

1/11/12 - EAD/AP Card received

1/20/12 - Got Driver's License!

3/7/12 - GC approved!

3/9/12 - Got a job!

3/11/12 - GC on hand
