I just realized today reading the other topic about the maiden or married name...

My signature I've used until my marriage was my full name (maiden) and that's how I signed all of the K-1 paperwork until now and my marriage license.

But now I want to change it to my new name and only right my first name initial and my husbands last name. I did change my name to his last name already at the SSA office and got the SSC with my new name.

Will it be problem if now I will sign my AOS papers with the new signature? Should I just use the old one?

It's kinda of funny since my name is not that anymore....

Thank you for your suggestions!

Yes you can change your name call nvc and they will tell you how to do it.. I did this by putting a copy of my new id, ssc and a letter saying I was requesting my name to be changed to my married name. give nvc a call to make sure how they want you to do it in case they changed how they want it to be done :)
