My wife is planning to get her Medical Exam now, but the interview is over a month away. POE is going to be 2 months from now. She heard the vaccinations are effective for only 30 days. Should she take it now or wait until closer to her flight date?

That is the funniest thing ever. Whoever told her that lie must have won some big prize if she and you actually believes it!!

Medical exam result is good for 6 months, while she could not be pregnant for at least a month when she have the vaccination.

The doctors at the medical exam in Colombia will insist on new vaccinations if they were done over 30 days before the medical. This is of course bunk but they are the ones that are singing the papers and it is a source of revenue. My wife went to the red cross and had it done one week before the medical (we missed one and had to have it done to the medical) and had no issues and did not have to pay a second time. If something similar is happening here that may be where the 30 days is coming from.
