Timeline

It means they dont conduct immigrant visa interviews on all business days.

I think they covered everybody till Oct 20th, 2011(CC date) in January.

I think they might have done some December cases also in January. Based on the below list, they have given appointment to BMB2011835*** cases. That means Dec 1 st, 2011 cases.

Mine is Dec 13 Case close date. Hoping to get Feb appointment.

How does NVC allocate interview dates? Does it depend on Embassy? Some guys on this forum are waiting since Oct, 2011.

I don't the know details but guessing. I think it goes by the type of visa and case complete date. Could someone who knows more details explain this.

Fiancee visa's are usually processed quicker.

Family based visa's take much longer and with the new consulate in Mumbai opening up and with all of Chennai's interview being shifted to Mumbai's already intense workload it is quite uncertain as to what the process is now.

Just be aware that spouse visa's have no limit as to how many they can issue per month/year compared to family, employment, student visa's with has a limit.

hello..can somebody please tell me how many days does it take to get a medical report from lilavathi hospital,Mumbai..My medical is on Feb 6th and my interview is on Feb 10th.. Also, if my medical starts at 8:30, by when do you think I can be out from the ospital? Can somebody please shed some light on this?
