One good thing to know, their Jan interview list is for 13 pages ( appox 650 interviews ) in 17 days.

Their Dec list was 13 pages

Nov list was 7 pages

Seems like they are making progress to increase the slot size for Mumbai Consulate.

They have arranged interviews only for 10 days in Jan.

Called them today. They finished Jan scheduling at Mumbai and I am not in. So all you ppl, if you have not received an email from NVC then it's not happening in Jan.

Sucks.

Swapdude, you are original Mumbai or Chennai?

Just trying to find till what date in October Case Complete they assigned appointments..

Don't take that for granted just yet. Did you see how many F-2 visa's were put out for this last month? Almost 4-1 ratio there. Chennai has A LOT of applicants as well...so it's going to be interesting how efficient the 40 windows will be...

The main reason for the consulate expansion was not for marriage or family visa's. It's for the increasing need of diplomatic services for Americans in India. :)

It's too soon to really say what is going to be the normal pattern of scheduling now...I wish you all get quick interview dates though. :)

Also, can i please know how long were the procedures at the Chicago airport ? how much time should we need before booking the connecting flight ?

Thanks,
