have a question regarding my upcoming interview..

my hubby has kids, do we need to bring their BC to the interview?

also, the only things we need to bring are

passport

Police certificate

interview letter

medical exam

Banco Popular Receipt..

Am I missing somehting else?

Yes, I would bring them as proof. Below is checklist I found useful.

Marriage Interview Checklist

- Copy of I-130 package sent to USCIS

- Copy of NOA1 and NOA2 for I-130

- Copy of I-129F package sent to the USCIS

- Copy of NOA1 for the I-129F

- Copies of all USCIS correspondence

- Copy of NVC Documents Requests Sent & Received:

I-864 Copy and Income Taxes for last 3 years IRS Transcripts

DS-3032 Email & Response

DS-230 & Case Completion request

Copy of Biographic Page Passport Beneficiary

Payment Receipts Copy (money orders or online)

Certificates and Translations for:

Marriage Certificate Inextensa & Legalized

Divorce Certificate Inextensa & Legalized and/or Certified

Police Certificate

- USC Employment letter (pay stubs)

- Interview Package

- Beneficiary Passport

- USC Passport

- Beneficiary Cedula

- (2) 2X2 pictures of Beneficiary

- Birth Certificate Inextensa & Legalized for Beneficiary

- Copy of USC Birth Certificate

- Marriage Certificate Inextensa & Legalized

- Divorce Certificate Inextensa & Legalized (if needed)

- Spouse Police certificate

- Children’s BC Inextensa & Legalized (if needed)

- DS-230 Extra

- Banco Popular receipt ($16 fee)

- Medical exam results

Evidence:

- Cell/House phone bills

- Calling Card Phone Logs

- Calling Cards

- Copies of Emails

- Copies of Flight Itineraries

- Boarding Passes

- My Passport Entries/Exits List

- Hotel receipts

- Car rental receipts

- Wedding Pictures

- Pictures (arranged by trip & date in plastic sleeves)

- Joint Bank Account Records

- Money Transfer Receipts (Western Union)

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

U.S. Naturalization -> 7/8/20

And yes. Definitely bring those BCs. I brought my kids certs. They didn't ask for them but they usually do.

Married: 6/17/11

I-130 Sent: 7/9/11

NOA1 : 7/14/11

I-129F Sent: 7/21/11

NOA1: 7/21/11

NOA2: 8/22/11

NVC Received: 8/24/11

NVC Left: 8/26/11

Consulate Received: 9/5/11

Packet 4 Received: 10/4/11

Medical Done: 11/7/11

Interview: 11/23/11

Approved: 11/23/11

Changed to CR1: 12/16/11

Medical Re-Done: 1/5/12

Waiting for Issuance of Visa.........
