Hi,

I hope there is some Pinays also who live here in (close/near) Farmington area of Minnesota. Would be nice to meet some kababayan here too:)

Been here for a year now too but never meet some Pinay's who live here close by... I guess they're just hiding lol...

Amy and I will be wandering up that way next summer on the motorcycle. Stomped all over Farmingtion when I lived up that way. You're just a sneeze south of the Twin Cities has to be a bunch around the area.

Does your family in the Phils have broadband internet? If they do, get a MagicJack Plus, set it up with a local (your area) phone number then mail it to them. Then you can call them and they can call you for free.

Yes, that's what my family is also using. It's a one-time purchase, you don't have to buy phone cards anymore.

I just bought the Magic Jack Plus for myself and one to send to the Phils, it will be nice to simply plug it into power and hook a CAT5 cable to it, plug a phone in - done. No computer needed anymore.

My wife and I travel the U.S. by motorhome. She is currently in the Philippines trying to bring her daughter over and we will be in the Corpus CHristi Texas area until April 1st. She loves to have friends all over the country. Look on facebook for Janice Harris married to Jerry Harris if you want to contact her.
