hi friends i will have interview for CR1 visa in december 13 , TUNISIA EMBASSY

as all applican t we send police records to NVC

is obligate i need another police records in interview day in embassy , or just i take for we not have problem if NVC FORGET SEND THIS PAPER TO EMBASSY

i apply for another police records i afriad we not ready this paper bfr interview day

If you mailed the police certificates with your immigrant visa application you do not need to bring another set with you to the interview. The NVC will make sure that the police certificates are sent to the consulate.

To make sure the NVC got your police certificates, look at your interview appointment letter. It includes a list of documents and indicates which ones the NVC received and which you have to bring to the interview. Because you sent your police certificates to the NVC they should be listed as "received originals".

Finally, if you have any confusion, contact the embassy and ask what documents they have on file for you. If you need to reschedule your interview they will do so.

USCIS (128 days)

January 8, 2011: Mailed Petition for Alien Relative packet to USCIS.

February 1, 2011: Received Notice of Action 1.

May 16, 2011: Received Notice of Action 2. Case handed off to NVC.

NVC (41 days)

June 24, 2011: Mailed Affidavit of Support packet to NVC.

July 12, 2011: Received checklist letter 1.

(Long delay intentional; not counted in processing time.)

October 12, 2011: Mailed Immigrant Visa packet to NVC.

October 20, 2011: Received checklist letter 2.

October 26, 2011: Mailed checklist letter response packet to NVC.

November 4, 2011: Received interview letter. Case handed off to the consulate in KL.

Consulate

November 12, 2011: Completed medical exam.

November 19, 2011: Picked up results, everything clear.

December 1, 2011: Interview - approved!

December 8, 2011: Visa in hand.

POE and beyond

February 5, 2012: POE at JFK, no problems.

February 29, 2012: Applied for and received SSN from the local SSO.

April, 2012: Applied for and received state ID at the DMV.

(Slight delay, had to redo biometrics at the local service center.)

April, 2012: Conditional green card arrived!

Removal of conditions

2014 is right around the corner...

yes in letter NVC said have police certificate

just i think if embassy said validity of police certificate died in 3 monh for this i need 1

Yes, I believe the police certificate must be valid at the time of the interview. Some police certificates are valid for 3 months, some are valid for 6 months. If you're unsure, contact the embassy and they should be able to check if you need a new one.

USCIS (128 days)
