Okay USCIS is driving me nuts -- one Tier 2 said my petition was at NBC, now the one I spoke to today says it's at my local office.... IDK who to believe!!!!!!

Ah, we're not due until December, so unless we get NOA2 really soon and NVC is really fast, we'll probably just wait until January. I would probably use Family Medical Leave to go over for 2 months for the birth though.

FYI, those who recently got NOA2 are complaining that NVC has started to get a backlog and they are taking upto 4 weeks now to issue a case for your petition. Earlier it was taking only 10 to 15 days.

Petition filing to approval, RFE or denial is a black hole. Unless there is something quite unique about your case circumstances, you simply wait through the black hole. It's the hardest part. If fretting over it and grasping at straws helps you, go for it but it won't get the result any sooner.

My wife called Wednesday this week (May 2nd) and the woman she spoke to told her November 15 I believe.

Our case is being processed by the California Service Center btw.

It must be for I-130 only. One person could make a mistake in reporting K-3 NOA2 but not many. Igor's list shows several from December I-130 got their NOA2 in last couple of days.
