Hi VJ's:

Finally we're married so now facing the new phase of this visa journey :D the AOS. So, I am here again seeking you're help :D - For those who recently did AOS, I wanna ask you few things:

1. What's the updated fees for AOS w/ EAD and AP in it?

2. IF I wanna apply for these 3 ( AOS, EAD, and AP ) what amount must be affixed in the check? ( Correct me if I am wrong. I read in previous post, that the amount must be 1...but I am thinking how will they know which is which? I mean what we applied for :D - sorry if that was a funny question as really I admit I am just about to start to grasp for ideas to be sure I am doing what I should be doing )

3. Do we need to prepare those documents to prove COMMON RESIDENCE? IF YES, is this just to be prepared if and when we have a scheduled interview? or must go with the packet for AOS?

Thank you everyone!

The total fees is $1070 for all three of them

You don't need to send common residence with AOS packet, however if you have it I would add it in. Just to save yourself if they would want to question.

The most important thing you can do at the AOS interview is to show you have a bonafide marriage.Photos are great but you can skip the marriage stuff. That is a given even with a fraudulent marriage. Show things you have done together as a couple. As an example we came with about 8-10 photos. Cooking together in the kitchen, walking the dog, having dinner in a restaurant with friends, being a tourist in another city ( we visited Washington DC), stuff like that. Works great. Showing common residence is difficult. She is not expected to be on our mortgage or rental lease or utility bills anytime soon. So a joint checking/savings account works well, as well as her being on an insurance policy or health benefits from work. Good luck to you.

Our adjudicator asked me a simple question. How is your marriage doing? My answer was " Most days are good, some times we have disagreements, some language problems which we try to overcome ( she did not speak good English at the time), we try not to go to bed angry, actually a pretty normal marriage". His reply? Approved.
