All I know on this subject is that withholding any information on your N-400 is good reason for the USCIS to deport you, over 5,000 such cases are pending right now. Even on issues that you may consider to be very minor.

Also know it was living hell sending my stepdaughter to a public school, no matter how much they brag as to how good they are. Schools are loaded with sex maniacs and drug addicts. Took a very strong hand to keep her out of trouble, as it was, she still got two minor traffic violations, and that caused a lot of grief with the USCIS. That peer pressure is awesome for a new kid on the block. My greatest day is when she turned 18, had a quiet talk with her, her mom and me were only longer responsible for her actions and now in regards to that, she is on her own. That really makes a huge difference.

Sorry about your upbringing and have full understanding of what you went through. Question is, is the USCIS equally understanding. Just lay all the facts on the table and hope for the best.
