Hey guys,

We sent our application on 3 June, and were notified on 9 November that USCIS was sending us an RFE, which we never received. I called on 25 November, and they stated they would resend it. Then, on 5 December, we got an email that the card was produced and mailed to us, and that we should allow 30 days for delivery. Then, today (8 December) we received the RFE, which was indeed resent to us a second time (the first time they sent it to an old address, which is why we never received it). The RFE is requesting some vaccinations (I-693).

So now we are very confused. Do we or do we not need to fufill the RFE, since the green card is apparently on its way?

We applied just for the green card, because we thought it takes just 4 months, like it is shown on USCIS page:) But of course everything is longer....

It is better that you send in the documents that is requested by the USCIS through the RFE. Even though your green card may be on the way, the uncleared RFE may be prove to be problem later. Do it and you will have your green card!!
