Hi everybody,

I`ve been looking for somebody who can help me, and my friend sent me directly to this forum, saying you guys are the best at this.

So, I would really appreciate if you guys advise me what to do and how to act in my situation.

The timeline looks like this

October 11 - The documents sent to USCIS

October 12 - Received by USCIS

October 25 - USCIS sent us all the receipts.

October 31 - We`ve received them

November 5 - USCIS mailed us a Request for Evidence

November 14 - We received RfE

November 25 - We sent all the documents for RfE

November 29 - USCIS received our documents

November 30 - The status changed online to Review of the RfE

November 30 - USCIS mailed us another RfE

December 5 - We received the new Rfe ( 3 out of 4 previous RfE )

My husband called them trying to figure out why we getting the same exact RfE papers, and nobody was helpful. Some officer said it looks like it`s a duplicate and we don`t have to do anything just to wait, the other one said that they have no idea what was wrong with the documents we`ve sent them for the first RfE, the third one said that after they`ve received the documents for RfE the status was not updated, and they don`t know how the status changed online and it says RfE again, and the last officer sent a request to see if the RfE was a duplicate, and it`ll take 20-25 day to figure that out. So,basically, nobody knows what to do or what`s going on.It`s been almost 2 months and there`s still nothing going on with the documents. We are really concerned about the whole situation, and don`t know what to do now? just sit and wait or send the documents again ?

And another question, my WA has expired , but can I still continue working since the documents are in process?

Any suggestions and any help will be appreciated.

I think you need to tell us what was the rfe for and what did you resend in to them.

That way we might be able to tell you if you did something incomplete. and if the rfe is true or not.

What WA (which I assume means Work Authorization) are you talking about? Did you apply for an EAD prior to AOS?

Hello,

When we`ve received the RfE for the first time there were 4 of them : 1 was for my birth certificate translation, even though when we sent all the documents, we included the notirized translation of my birth certificate. 2 - since my husbands earnings were not enough, the asked either to include more investments or to obtain a joint sponsor, and we obtained a joint sponsor(his mom). 3 - Letter from my husbands employer , and the last one was about the tax return and w2 from the last year. And we sent them everything the asked for. And 3 of them were sent out on Nov 30 back to us, and the officers assume it`s a duplicate...

I`m sorry, forgot to mention, I came here as a F1 student and was applying for Work authorization every other year pretty much, since work authorizations lasts for just a year, and was expired in November, I was assuming I`ll get my WA in about 2-3 months after applying for it, but since it`s getting so complicated now,we don`t know what to do.
