How long is NoA1 supposed to take?

Hi,

I very luckily managed to get a certified marriage certificate the Monday after our wedding and I filed the AOS application a day later and sent it off express delivery. Its been more than 2 weeks and I haven't heard a peep, is this normal? I understand that a couple days after arrived at the Chicago lockbox it was the Thanksgiving weekend but its been a good week and a half since then, shouldn't I have heard something by now? I have a job lined up for when I have my EAD so the fact that my 90 days hasn't even started yet is so extremely frustrating!!!!!

2-3 weeks is usual can take up to 30 days max.

Holidays can throw things off by a week or so. Id wait an extra week and if still nothing call USCIS and see if you can get some info.

Also has your payment been cashed? thats another big indicator...
