Me and my wife have been married now for close to 2 years. I would like to take the next step to get my wife and son there new green cards.I think its a K-4 but not sure. How do i get the forms? And what is the cost? Also any hints on what I need to turn in to them>?? My wife told me we have to do every thing all over again. Is this true?? Because if it is this would suck. THe last 3 years have been very hard on us. I have lost a lot of money due to the economy. It may show I can not afford them. I'm working harder now then every before in my life just to keep us in the middle class home we have, but it has been very hard.

My wife has been great during this hard times and with out her I don't think I could of made it. If any of you can help me with some good advice that would be great.

Did your wife and son come here on K1/K2 visas? And you then married and they adjusted status? And now their green cards are almost expired? Is that what you are saying?

If that is so, then you need to remove the conditions. The forum for that is http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/86-removing-conditions-on-residency-general-discussion/ and the guide is http://www.visajourney.com/content/751guide There is no need to show your income information.

If your situation is different from what I assumed, please explain.

Well read those links I sent you and you will do just fine :-) It's straightforward and not complicated. You will need to send off the forms during the 90 days prior to the expiration date on her green card.

You need the I-751 Download here at this site, (under "forms")read the instructions and guides just as you have before. Ask questions in the "removing conditions" forum.

There is no financial requirement for removing conditions, you are done with that for good.
