Aren't they struggling to resolve that little issue of forced "birth control" - a.k.a. eugenics - down in N.C. right around now? It hasn't been that long - less than 5 decades - that the state had a program in place to sterilize certain people which it felt should not reproduce. Among those the poor, of course. Yearning for those good ole' days, slim?

Actually certain people SHould NOT reproduce but as it is we not only feed them to give them the energy to reproduce then we pay for their lifelong needs.

Of course I am against big gov which in a more perfect world, would limit these programs to the state level.

You guys had that at the state level all the way up 1966. They sterilized little 10 year old girls. Why don't you start a petition drive to put that eugenics board back in business down there in North Carolina. I'm sure you'll get a lot of fan mail once you start the effort.

I would but I doubt I would get the cover the founder of planned parenthood has gotten.... boy she was really into it, talk about weeding out "undesirables"

But all the ones that weren't sterilized were given a good education of how to be a proper housewife.

You know, for a god fearing, sanctity of life kind of guy, you sure like to compete with the Almighty when it comes to the reproduction of His children. Might earn you a speacial place once you kick the bucket - not next to HIM, though, I'm afraid. Don't even want to start talking about your dissing the Declaration of Independence which is odd also seeing that you profess so much to be upholding what the founding fathers and the nation once stood for.
