losing a a K1 package in mail in not a tragic thing and if your are trying to get a soft ppl's soft corner then you are very wrong.

If your K1 package was lost and you really have a USC bf then resend the package how difficult is that?

FYI - this is mail losing your package tons of case where USCIS or NVC has lost files and docs on ppl's ongoing case and they have to resend the stuff.

Surely your USC boyfriend/fiance can get a visa to visit Russia.

Have him visit you in Russia. Get married. Immediately file for a CR-1 visa. You are looking at a cheaper route and in 7-9 months you can enter the US as an American citizen, with no fraud involved. In the meantime, you can attempt to get a B-2 visa TO VISIT and show them you have already filed for a CR-1 and are going through the proper channels. Good chance you'll be denied, but you've already been denied multiple times so you don't have much to lose. This will be a better, LEGAL alternative to trying repeatedly for a visa you likely won't get or committing immigration fraud.

DOH! Huge typo on my part, but too late to edit. Yes, I meant she can enter as an LPR!! Definitely NOT a citizen! (Wouldn't that have people scrambling to do things the "proper" way though!)

Guess i keep you all tuned! I dont have a bf in Russia, thought making that up could improve chances for a tourist visa (fyi i was not gona use an am immigration ticket). That was a bad idea and i shouldnt have though about it.

Tnx for getting me back on the right track though.

But just think about how bad u would feel if ur whole K1 package was lost in the mail? Not rly encouraging huh? In a despair u'd think of ANYTHING to help u be together w the person u love, dont lie to urselves please.

U can judge me, it's ur right, but dont forget about wuts deep down in ur own soul.

Just think about what your interview would be like....you would be applying for a visa allegedly to visit some 'family friend' who, amazingly, happens to be around your age, someone who you will claim you haven't seen in X number of years, or who has got some odd disease or something...and then try to claim that the reason you will return to Russia is your mysterious Russian boyfriend, who 'can't travel with me because he's too involved setting up a new business' or some such malarky.....do you really and truly believe that even a moderately experienced VO can't see through this charade? It's the kind of phony story they probably hear 50 times a day...a single woman 'suddenly' has to visit some long lost 'family friend' but claims they have an ongoing serious relationship with a local but who, for one reason or another, just can't break loose from work or from inventing perpetual motion in order to travel together.....gee....I'd sure be fooled.

This is the kind of foolishness that makes USCIS and consulates take the stance they do about the petitions before them. You slow up the process for all the rest who wait PATIENTLY AND BEGRUDINGLY for touches, emails, and letters about our cases. No one made you post several SCHEMING topics. You've displayed your moral character all on your own. I wish you well on your journey.

OK guys, time to change a topic... Brace yourselves, cause this one's HUGE! Ready? Let's go! I'm a US citizen that fell in love with my Bangladeshi friend from Facebook... (Told you it's gonna be big...) Now, to make things even more interesting I'm 15 yrs older than him ... (Getting better yet). Yet, we do fell for each other and simply can't live without... I'm planning to visit my bf in next 2 mos. but it doesn't solve a problem of what would be a fastest and surest way for bringing him here. I know that age difference will likely raise the suspicion although we truly love each other. Any help?

I have a question...how do you 'fall in love' with someone over Facebook? I would ask him how many times he has been denied a tourist visa.

Yes, the age difference will be critical.

The particular scenario is actually very common.

Have you thought of moving to Bangladesh? I am sure it will be much quicker and less costly and thta way you could be together much much quicker.

We've been already friends on FB for over a year. FYI he never applied for tourist visa.

If you really love each other why would you not move to be with him?

I do not love him so the question is not relevant.

I'm not looking for cynical remarks etc. Yes, I do plan to visit, and stay temporarily if necessary. Yet, I understand that as a sponsoring party I'd need to show financial support as well, don't I?
