I had my interview on Nov 28th and was approved. DHL had my Visa on Dec second!!

First things first, to the guy I talked to outside of the consulate, congrats on your fiancee getting her Visa as well all the best to you two! To the family that was there with a young daughter and a baby (if I remember your # was C14) hope you guys got your Visa aswell. Whoever else was there hope you all got your Visas too!

Anyway just a few quick questions, My flight is booked for Dec 17th at Pearsons airport in Toronto is that where I do the whole K-1 immigration, or is that done after I get into the states? What do I need for the Immigration process as far as I know I need my Passport/Visa and the Packet that came with my Visa and my X-ray, am I missing anything?

For everyone with upcoming Interviews good luck!

Thanks all

(yes I'm intending to do a consulate review as soon as I get a chance)

They don't want your Xray. You keep that for yourself and give it to your new doctor in the USA.

You pass customs in Canada - you will before you get to your flight, you will hand over the brown envelope etc. Leave lots of time for that part so you can get to your flight on time.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Congrats!!!

I POEd through Pearson myself. You do all the immigration stuff there- when you land in the States, all you have to do is pick up your baggage and give your fiance(e) a big hug and kiss!

By the way, immigration at Toronto Pearson opens at 5:30am, so don't get there earlier than that. I got there at 6am and there was only one person in front of me (my flight left at noon so it wasn't too early for me. It's not like I slept the night before anyways) but Pearson can get very crowded very quickly (especially after 7am) so I'd suggest leaving lots of time to get through secondary.

They want your brown envelope and your passport. They didn't care about my xray.
