I am trying to download forms to complete AOS from the USCIS site, but when I do my Windows program shuts down because it of the Data Execution Prevention feature. I can not figure out how to change this. I tried the suggestion on the Windows computer help, but how do you add a file from the internet to be accepted? It seems like you can only add files you have on your computer. Please, if anyone has any suggestions. I need help. I have gather everything I need for my AOS, but now I cannot even get the forms. ARGH!!!!

I love being a Canadian.

I believe the files are in .pdf format

You need a program like Adobe Reader to view them

Not sure if this is of any help to you but you could try these instructions http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie9-windows_vista/data-execution-prevention-shut-off-data-execution/eaef0c22-a573-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

You should be able to use that to change the DEP settings. If not, I would uninstall adobe PDF viewer and re-install it.
