It's been almost 6 months since our NOA1. I waited, hoping that we'd here something from CSC.. an RFE, NOA2 ANYTHING.

I called the customer service number today. I was told that our filing date is July 25th, 2011 and we are with in normal processing times. Hold the phone! Our Filing date is June 16th! I have the paper in front of me.

(If you don't remember I was the person with the returned money order because of the moron at western union printing it out in Canadian funds and we then paid by phone with a credit card)

I have another NOA dated July 17th stating that our proper payment was received, our petition was again in process and our ORIGINAL filing date was reserved.

According to the Customer Service Agent I just spoke to, that is not the case, the filing date has been adjusted to when the payment was processed, which was July 25th. My credit card statement shows it as processed on July 17 at 9:03am EST. but whatever...

I try telling the lady, that it isn't what my letter says. She says she can't help me, we are with in normal processing times and to have a nice day. :bonk::bonk:

I guess this means our NOA2 is bumped to December 25th!! Not only smack dab in the middle of the Christmas Holiday, but THE holiday.

I feel like I'm about to throw up....

Ouch.

In a way, at this point it would almost be better for it to take four more months, as that way you'd be an IR-1, not a CR-1, and not have to worry about the ROC process 21 months later...

I'm going to call them back Friday and hopefully get someone helpful. I was not in the least bit rude to the woman, but she acted like she had a thorn in her foot, a splinter in her finger and hemorrhoids up her a$$.

If I don't get a reasonable person, I'll call my congressman first thing Monday morning.

I'm in Finals at school and I really don't have a lot of time to be dealing with cranky people.
