oath date: posaible to take pictures?

hi,

im scheduled for oath. a friend of mine was supposed to come but canceled,

does guests at oath can take a picture at each other? is it allowed?

id love to take a pict and send to my family

Can't say for sure, at the same field office, did let me take a picture of my wife, but she never wanted to see it, was all stressed out if anything happened to her mom, she couldn't visit her until she received her US passport. She learned that at her oath ceremony. With my stepdaughter, they did let me bring my camera in, but not my cell phone, but the officer in charge said no pictures.

Others have reported their oath ceremony was in a court house where no picture taking was allowed. At one time they were very critical about you holding your certificate so it can be viewed in your photo, but think they are over that now.
