Hi. My wife as applicant does not have her passport yet. We have already paid the AOS and IV Application fee. Do the visas run out if we delay the application for some weeks? Or do we have a reserved visa waiting until we submit the app? thanks for your replies.

NO your priority date has you protected given the date is current.

Yes... you can do it in Jan, Feb. Mar. April, May 2012... When the case is CURRENT... you WILL have a visa available.. - YES.
