I think I made a big mistake when mailing back RFE

I feel sick... I mailed back my IMBRA RFE Thursday morning from the city of Laguna Hills Post Office, which is only minutes away from Laguna Niguel, but had it certified with return signature. I logged onto usps.com and signed up for an email notification as soon as someone from CSC has received it. I thought for sure that it would best to keep it in the original envelope for CSC to more easily sort their mail. I've got nothing so far...no email notification! Had I sent it express, I know they would have signed for it by now. Just feel sick...I hate this! :(

When I sent my petition to TSC I sent it certified. I was able to put in the certificate number and track it without waiting for the e-mail notification. Have you tried this?

Just hoping to find something helpful (F)

Thanks. :star: Yes, I've been loggin online at usps.com since yesterday and it hasn't been signed for yet. :( I'm sure I'm just panicking but I was really hoping to mail the best way possible to get approved this week. :( I'm over 100 days now...sigh...

You can at least track it! God forgot to smite the liberal tracking system.

Frustrating though.

Steven,

You should see something happen with that soon. I think USPS takes longer to update certified mail delivery, as opposed to Express or priority mail, since there is no barcode.

It's no biggie. I've had mail sent by certified mail not even register in the notification system but yet it was delivered. Remember the post office and USCIS are all part of the same bureaucracy. I'm sure it will get there.

Ah, ok. Thanks William for the reassurance. I started having visions of me going over there demanding they give me the envelope back to me, then driving over CSC and personally handing it to them...but I'd probably get arrested or sent to the looney bin. :star:

God's punishing my liberal ways. :P (disclaimer: reference to my OT rants)

uh-oh..then I am in trouble too! :help:

PS maybe your feeling for a Thursday approval is confused with a Thursday acknowledgement of the RFE or it's next Thursday you are feeling. anyway. Good luck on hearing something soon. (F)

If you repent now, you might be able to shave off a few weeks from your NOA2. :P
