Green Card problem

Hello, everybody, sorry if it is not the correct forum. My husband got his conditional Resident Card yesterday and after all the happiness I realized that the green card doesn't have the hologram seal on it. I do not know if that would be a problem if he wants to travel or what we should do. I checked the website and it says that all the card have the holographic image (or something like that) but my husband's does not. Could you please check you cards and let me know if I am wrong or not. What do you guys think we should do? Thank you in advance for your responses.

I think you should live your life and put the Green Card in the safe unless you are traveling internationally.

The Green Card will be scanned at the POE when you return from abroad and the computer screen will tell the story.

There is a hologram image of the seal of the US Department of Homeland Security on the GC. It is almost in the middle of the card, a little to the left. If his GC really does not have the image of the seal, I would call USCIS or make an infopass appointment. He will probably have to get it replaced, but it shouldn't cost you anything since it is obviously a manufacturing mistake.

Another option is that it is a fake.. since you don't have a timeline, it's hard to tell what process you went through and how your husband obtained his GC, but I assume you went through a formal legitimate process through USCIS to get it..

Sorry, I am a US Citizen I applied for him on September 2011, he came under the Visa waiver Programm about 10 years ago, we had the interview on November 29, 2011 and we were approved.

If you're certain it does not, schedule an Infopass appointment to show it to them and file to have it replaced. I'd imagine that's probably a printing error of sorts.

11.01.2010 - Successful biometrics walk-in @ 9:45 AM; EAD card sent for production text/email @ 2:47 PM! I-485 case status now available online.
