Whata bunch of buggers, why couldn;t they just tell you that over the phone, I mean seriously. You could have had it faxed long ago.

You can't talk, fax and see anyone in Montreal, only e-mails or courrier. Look at the e-mail

Dear Ms. xxxxx:

After review of your case I have noted that a letter of intent from your Fiance, the petitioner, xxxxx, is missing. Please send back to me via post or email (scanned) a brief, signed letter from the petitioner stating his intent to marry you.

We will hold your file until we hear back from your Petitioner.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Hopefully your letter gets married up with your file and your visa gets to your fiance shortly!

I sincerely hope that this process covers the "...and bad times" portion of the marriage vows for all of us.

It's not fun being so far from the ones we love waiting for bureaucracy to take it's course.

Got an email back saying the Visa is in the mail!!!! Santa and my fiancee are coming together! A copy of the email received

"Thank you for sending in the needed letter of intent.

I have issued your fiancée’s visa and it will go out in the courier this evening. We advise applicants that they should plan for it to take approximately 5 business days to arrive at the destination selected through the courier service. We also advise applicants not to make travel plans until they have their passports with visas in-hand. Given our volumes, Ms. xxxxx passport may arrive a bit sooner or a bit later.

Sincere regards and best wishes,
