Hi there, My H1 will be expiring on the mid of sept 2012 and I might be able to recapture 365 days that I am out of the country. On the other hand, I will be having a wedding soon in asia on this february 2012 and would like to apply for a H4 for my fiance.

1) Should I wait until I got my approval on my recapture time before applying H4 for my wife, so that she has higher chance instead of just having 6 months on her H4 visa ?

2) After reading much more websites, it was said that applying 6 months before the expiry would be ideal. Will i be rejected recapturing if i apply 7 -8 months ahead of time?

3) Therefore, if i apply on march 2012, should i apply her H4 visa after i got approval ? And then I fly back to asia to go for an interview together ?

Hope to hear from someone.

Thanks!
