Hello, i can't remember my ex-husbands exact birthday. I know its in May. and i know the year but not the actual day. would this cause my petition to be delayed?

8/24/12: RFE sent to NVC

10/5/12: IV Bill paid

10/20/12: DS-230 package sent to NVC

11/13/12: case complete with NVC

11/26/12: case @ embassy in Nigeria

12/26/12:NTERVIEW SCHEDULED for 01/23/13!!! WHOOOOWHOOO

No marriage certificate. Can i still get a copy of that even though we are divorced?

Yes you can still get a copy. That's how I got my ex-husband's birth date.

okay thanks! because we barely stayed together long enough to celebrate our birthdays! it was one of the biggest mistakes in my life! i know nothing about that man besides him being a A hole.He refuses to reply my text or phone calls. so Thanks will try and get a copy tomorrow!

Make sure your husband knows all about your ex-husband including his birthday and the reason for the divorce for the interview. They love to ask questions about the ex-spouse.

no its not on the divorce decree either and the marriage certificate only has his age at the time of the marriage.

Then enter "unknown" in the space for his date of birth and make sure your current spouse understands both that you don't know, why and what you did to find the date.
