I have a question Im completing the petition and its asking for my adress but Im currently staying with my spouse in his mothers home so do I use his adress or my home adress in texas?

Im assuming you are, in which case the Petitioner would write his US address, beneficiary would write home country address!

IM THE PETITIONER AND IM CURRENTLY RESIDING WITH MY SPOUSE ARGENTINA BUT I lived with my parents back at home. im doing the petition here but am gona send it to the chicago lockbox

Are you staying with them in Argentina or are you actually living there?

As far as im aware you have to have a permanent address in the US...there may be other stipulations too...hopefully someone will be along to clear this up!

yea ii arrived to argentina on may 24 2011 n been here since..but then ii returned home for 2 weeks on july 31 and came back to be with my spouse. I have a permanent adress back home. but do i use my home adress or my spouse's adress

If you are applying for CR-1 you have to use your home address in the USA.

Some consulates offer DCF but I dont believe Argentina is one of them.

There is a niggling thought that makes me think you have to be in the US, rather than in Argentina, but I may be wrong.

Although not least to be earning to act as sponsor...

Since you are living in Argentina, use your address in Argentina.

There is a niggling thought that makes me think you have to be in the US, rather than in Argentina, but I may be wrong.

No, OP does not have to be in the US.

Basically, it depends where you would like USCIS to send you mail like NOAs and possible RFEs.

If you reside in Argentina, you can use that address. You'll receive any snail mail communication there, so it might take time to come according to the quality of the local postal service.

My husband is the USC and he still lives in France now. He gave our address in France, and we received the NoA1 letter here in 12 days after it was sent.

If you intend to stay in Argentina until the end of the process, I would advise to use the address there. Because if you give your parents' address in the US, and you receive an RFE or something, they'd have to forward it to you and it would just make things even longer.

Petitioners don't apply for visas; they file petitions, which when approved allow their foreign relatives to apply for visas. Please don't confuse petition and application. It confuses people.

Yes, the petitioner uses their US address as they are "visiting" their foreign spouse. It doesn't matter where the petitioner is physically, as long as there is a US address shown for the petitioner when filing.

Sponsorship issues are dealt with later.
