Hello,

I had my CR1 visa interview today and it all went well. I was asked simple questions about our relationship and wedding..Thats it!!

I am sure there are loads of VJ viewers from london who had successful interview.

How long it normally took USA to send the passport back to you?

What do they stamp on the passport?

I am waiting eagerly to fly to usa..

Please tell me the number of days it took you to get your passport back from the embassy??

They told me a week to ten days but I got mine in two days! Interview Tuesday, passport back on Thursday.

You get a visa glued in the passport on one of the pages. It fills the whole page.

You get a stamp that's like a temp greencard when you go through POE

They will mail your greencard a few weeks later

What about the social security card.. Does it come automatically in the post if ticked yes in DS-230 form..

It's supposed to, but sometime people have to chase them down or go to the Social Security office and put in an application if they don't get one.
