I am trying to work out both my FIance's and my own work schedule to coincide somewhat with the Consulate Interview. A question came up, and hoping the grizzled vets of VJ can provide some answer.

Theoretically assuming that my fiance receives her approved Visa in June, how long is the validity of the Visa stamp? Does she need to actually enter the US and use the Visa within 30 days, 60, 90 ??

Thanks in advance

Depend on when her last Medical is taken, her visa validity is good 6 months from that..NOT 6 months from the date of visa issuance. Let say if someone was in AP for months after the medical, that time will cut down to weeks...

When the Consulate issues her the visa, that expiration date will be on there..

Wow, glad you added that, thanks for the catch !! We will make sure to time the medical as close to issuance (again hopefull thinking) as possible!
