About a year ago I posted a link and information about the son of a friend of mine - Sean Jordan - who decided to take 1 1/2 years to travel around the world on a Vespa. Sean is a Canadian who lives in Belgrade, so started his journey in Budapest, traveled down through the Middle East through India over to Indonesia, shipped the bike to South America, travelled up through South America to the US and Canada, then shipped the bike over to London and drove back 'home' to Budapest. He blogged his travels on his facebook and website pages, and has gathered a following in the tends of thousands. On December 3rd this video was shot of him returning triumphantly 'home'. He had some great adventures and his Mom hopes he will write them all down in a book - which I will definitely want to read. One of his comments along the way was that when you are on a big motor bike people tend to feel intimidated by you; when you are on a Vespa they become incredibly friendly, curious and helpful.

Anyway, I thought you might enjoy this video showing the end of his Vespa "360 World tour": (the interview is in English but it has Hungarian sub-titles)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
