I dont make enough money to support my wife how can I use my father a a joint sponsor?

Do I fill out the I-864 under my father name and I check the box (I AM THE JOINT SPONSOR)?

The petitioner MUST also complete the I-864 even if the income is $0.00. if your father lives with you then you can use the I-864A ..

Got Visa in hand---02/13/12 in Morelia,Mich.
