Hello,

I just needed info pertaining to ds230. My wife is ready to submit her packet, the only thing is we need to send copy of biographic page of her passport. Her passport is still in her maiden name. She is in te process of changing her name on passport, but as usual things in Philippines move slower. Should we wait till passport is done then submit biographic page with married name on it or should go ahead and send biographic page with her maiden name. Please help !!!!'

Thanks

Hi! Did you use her married name in all of the other forms (I-130, G325A)? We have the same case. I emailed NVC regarding the matter and was advised to have my passport changed to my married name. They told me that the visa will be issued same as the name that was stated in the passport. So as not to create any confusion, I had my passport changed and rushed its processing to save up time.
