Hi Guys! Not sure if I'm posting this on the right area, so moderators can move it wherever.

I recently moved to a new place like 5 days ago and I'm not certain if I should be reporting my new address to the USCIS.

My fiance got his visa already and he's entering the US next month. I've read on here that I don't have to do anything except tell my fiance to write the current address on the white form that will be given to him and tell the POE officer as well.

Is that it? Any input will be greatly appreciated! :D

wrong, that applies only if you have an active case.

To the OP, no change of address required for you currently

YMMV

THANK YOU Payx…you are like the only person on here for the past 5 years that gave the correct information. The US citizen does not have to submit a new address every time they move AFTER their spouse gets visa, green card, etc. It is not a pending case. See below:

1. U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, and you have a pending case, you can change your address online here on our website. Please note that the law does not require U.S. citizens to file a Form AR-11.

2. Non-U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, you need to follow two different steps:

Step 1: File a Form AR-11 (This changes your address in our master database.);

Step 2: If you have a pending case, you must also file a Change of Address online or call our National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. (This changes your address for the specific application you have submitted.)

Please note that if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you have a pending case, you must complete both steps to make sure that you comply with the regulations and so we can reach you at your correct address.
