Hi all my name is Poonwattie, I am the fiancee of Mohsin, well its abt 5 30 am and I cant sleep so i decided to visit VJ, just to get my mind off things

Mohsin had his interview on Nov 28th,and as most of u knw he was put on AP,and also I need to send him another co-sponsor,now that's not the problem, that

will be done asap, these CO at the embassy have been doing this for a long time, then y cant they see when a relationship is so true? Its like they are

playing god with ppls lives, Mohsin and I have been apart for almost 3 yrs, and I am at the end of my rope, i just want to be with him,, Is that too much

to ask for? Now my question is that while he is on AP, if I move to Pakistan to stay with him, would that harm his case? Its just a thought, right now i am

over come with disappointment and missing my fiance.

Awwww :(( I can totally relate... we've been on ap for 5 1/2 months now still waiting... feels like we are closer sometimes and then other times it feels soo far away!

It wouldn't hurt your case but I wouldn't rush into a major life decision based on the ap... unless of course it takes years. You would still need to have domicile here in usa to be able to bring him here.

They also asked us for another documents which we submitted and it took them almost 6 weeks to review and call me for phone interview. The CO told me at that time that our case was fine we had nothing to worry about and our relationship is genuine but he did have mandatory ap which required name checks thru washington. They began that in August and a month ago we had our congressman make an inquiry and the reply was we were in normal processing and last week DOS told me that nothing of our case is in usa its all at embassy for reviewing so I'm hoping that we are closing in on the end of it.

From everything Ive read... 50% of cases requiring ap finish within 2 months.. majority within 6 months and only a few lasting longer.. some of the ap cases we hear about here on VJ that last over a year there are issues that are out of the ordinary or it could be a family visa waiting on a visa to become available. sometimes these stories only give us a small amount of info and it scares us when there may be larger issues behind the longer ap that we may never know.

Just hang in there.. im sure it really wont last too much longer.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that, my dear. I can sense it through my own experience - about being separated for almost 4 months by now-. We are all in the situation that very difficult to handle. I hope you can have something to do, maybe Skype everytime you missed him or you can just go to visit him since he can't visit you in US. Maybe you can try another country to meet if you are not feel safe visit Pakistan for this moment. I did it before. My fiance and I had to choose another country to met in person cause related to terrorism issue in my country.

Thank you guys so much for the replies,, I am going out of my mind here, I just wish that these CO can understand wht we r going through

Eabbas, I knw abt your case Mohsin and I have discussed it a lot of times I do admire ur courage. Someone said so right on VJ is it our

fault if we fall in love with a person who isnt in the usa, and is that an excuse not to have that person. I am trying to hang in there

with everything i have, but its not easy I just came back from Pakistan yesterday, and beleive me it wasnt easy to come back.

Celebes we did meet a lot of times in other countries, we met in Uk, then in Dubai and then i went to Pakistan in Feb, after which we

met in Thailand in July and now I went back to Pakistan to attend the interview with him, and the CO manage to use those trips against us

instead of seeing that we needed to b with each other.Every time we meet and have to part a little piece of me dies, I didnt had a good

past when it comes to love, and i had totally given up on love, and then i met Mohsin, who changed my entire life, and to have to be away

from that its like dying a little bit each and every day.

thank u dear.. but its the simple fact that in the end we will be with our spouses/fiance's that keeps us going. It's the love we share that keeps us strong

The fact he's traveled outside of pakistan may simply be part of his ap that they want to check... but i would advise now not for him to make any more out of the country travels as it could make them redo ap for that reason to check about his travel again.

It really will not last forever.. feels like it but each day that passes is a day closer that you don't have to redo again!

With AP you have to try and remain calm because you don't know how long it will last. Eabbas is right each day that passes is a day closer to being with the one you love.

My husband has been in AP for a long time. I try to live one day at a time because when I look too far into the future I get so sad. It seems like his AP will never end but I know someday they have to make a decision on our case. Some day soon they will make a decision on yours too.

Eabbas I knw wht u mean abt the trips and no we dont plan on going anywhere else now, if anything at all i will go to pakistan, but he wouldnt travel

anywhere else besides to come to me,the CO that interview him, also interviewed me he asked so many questions, then he nit picked on so many things, that

its really hard to tell wht he doubts, first it was the fact of the age difference and then he asked abt the difference of religion, then abt my divorce

but if anything he shouldnt doubt on our relationship at all cuz we had soo much proofs of our relationship that dated back since 2009. Carolyn I admire

your patience, my god ur husband have been on AP for one year I hope he is out very soon, also Eabbas husband, we all desreve to b with the ones we love.

The day of the interview every guy that went for their interview was put on AP and all the girls were given their visa, I think thats really double

standard.

some days its bearable.. other days its heartbreaking literally and ive cried many many tears and cried myself to sleep many nights... but the reality is.. we did fall in love with someone from pakistan and that reality is that extra security checks must be done. In the end we will get thru this.. they will complete these checks and each minute, hour, day week and month behind us is that much closer to our loved ones. When these security checks come back and their visa received and they enter the POE they can hold their heads high knowing they did the immigration process the right way and going thru every thing they must to prove their eligibility and for that we can all be proud that we didnt try to get around it or go thru it faster.. we went thru the struggles to find our happily ever after.. and we all will have it.. some may be sooner some may be longer but we all will have it... INSHALLAH!!!!!
