Hi,

I just recieve the first noa the I-797c, ..... This whole process kinda confuses me, what do I do now? Do we just wait? Or is there something me and my wife can do to prepare? We are both in Kuwait. She's from the Philippines she's with me under a dependendant visa while I am working here.

You just received your NOA1 for the I-130 that you filed to begin the process. You will now have to wait for an adjudication decision from USCIS. While you are waiting, you can gather necessary documents that you will have to send to the NVC. Some of those documents are time sensitive (e.g. police certificate), I would recommend that you find out how to go about acquiring the time sensitive documents now and then actually acquire them after you receive your NOA2.

For the Affidavit of Support (AOS) that you will have to file at the NVC once they have your file, your income (or combination of income and assets) must be at or above 125% of the poverty line for your household count. If you do not meet that threshold, then you will require a joint sponsor. If the income at your job will not continue after your return to the US, then it is considered foreign income and it cannot be counted. Also, since you are in Kuwait, you will have to show that you have maintained or are in the process of re-establishing a US domicile.

Finally, update your timeline and information. Your wife will be applying for a CR-1 visa, not a K3. Also, the Texas service center does not adjudicate I-130's, your NOA1 (the I-797C) should tell you which service center your file was routed to.
