What do you need help with?

If she is not working then she needs a co-sponsor to meet the income requirement for you. This will be needed at the interview. As long as she has the papers done and has a co-sponsor then its fine.

the spouse is seeking a F2A visa so it seems safe to assume the wife is a Permanent Resident based on the information provided

Yes so is it ok for a Perm Resident to be out of the country of USA? He said she stayed with him mostly? I am just asking to be sure he will not have an issue with her perm status being out of status? Plus he posted in the wrong forum and his timeline shows nvc complete jan 14 2011. So maybe he filled out some things wrong. I was just making sure. and making sure if she was out of usa---how long?

Thanks

you're causing your self to be come confused.

yes it is ok for a permanent resident to be out the country temporarily . The husband said "but she filed I 131 teravel doument" which shows that the travel abroad was not a permanent one. The posted made the posting in the correct section. The case category is F2A which is specific to the case a Perm resident petitioning/filing for a spouse. The time line is not relevant however the case was filed 2009-09-01 and the case was completed at the NVC on 2011-01-14 - and is awaiting the scheduling of the interview. The priority date is not yet current and is likely to be come February 2012

yes once the I-131 has been issued it can serve up to the 2 year mark so should she say 10 or 11 months she should expect no issues.
