i realised it too late, the petition is with them... i made a mistake by filling previous marriages and just put in the last, not realising i should have put all :blush: ... and now, i dont know if they will check it. the problem is, that i had as well to put in my kids full names, and my suns full name is of course another one then my doughters... confusing? yes it is... anybody knows if they focus on such a thing? thanks alot!

K1 TIMELINE

2/10/2006 I-129f sent to TSC

2/13/2006 they received it

2/16/2006 guess it was fowarded to CA, so they got it that date

2/21/2006 check finally cashed

2/23/2006 NOA1 received

5/01/2006 NOA2

5/30/2006 e mail from CSC: petition was requested for review!! ????

5/31/2006 another e mail reply: petition was approved but has not been fowarded yet

6/15/2006 finally!!!! Petition received by NVC!

6/16/2006 left NVC

6/22/2006 US Embassy in Bern, Swiss rec'd petition

6/28/2006 rec'd paket 3

6/29/2006 sent paket 3 back

7/13/2006 got interview date!!

7/27/2006 Interview! APPROVED!!!!! YEAH!

9/18/2006 Planed flight to Raleigh/ NC........

11/18/2006 WEDDING DAY!

AOS

12/14/2006 AOS receipt date

01/18/2007 Biometrics in Charlotte

01/16/2007 Sent additional information (proof of income, ect) for AOS

01/29/2007 Case has been transfered to CSC ( in order to speed up processing.....)

02/17/2007 E mail from CSC... they received case...!!!??? (wooow....long journey..)

02/26/2007 E mail notification: Card production ordered! YEAH!

02/27/2007 E mail notification: Notice mailed welcoming the new resident!!GRATE!and without

interview!!!!!

03/04/2007 GREENCARD IN MAIL, YEAH!!!!!

I would say they would notice if you listed all prior married names in 'other names used'? Are the children travelling with you?

yes, they will come with me. so my sun has another family name then my doughter and me.. i wonder if they recognise this....hopefully not. dont want more delay coz of this..

If it was me, after I got the Notice of rReceipt of your petition and case Number I would immediately send them the corrected information and explain that you mis-understood what was required and later realized that all marriages/divorces needed to be included, not just the last one.

You need to be very careful and pay attention to what you are doing when fill in these documents. This is a very important if you want your SO with you and sooner as appose to later. You will probably get an RFE. :wacko:

i know, its too bad i never realised it by then... but i guess, if i send them now the proper application forms, they might not even stick them together, or search for the petition coz it has been anyway fowarded to CA.. so i guess, all what i can do now, is sending the proper forms with a copie of my very old divorce paper to my fiance in usa and wait what will go on...no? if he will get now a RFE, then we can send them all the proper forms immediatly. will there be then a big delay again or do they just go on with the approval??

God, i wish i would have thougth a bit more that day.... :(
