my husband is a US citizen doing my i130 petition, but am not sure what to select on the i485 form part 2 should i select B?

This has to be the single most-asked question.

The answer is A.

It's worded in a confusing way. Below, I omit the unnecessary jargon and leave what's relevant to your case:

A. An immigrant petition giving me an immediately available visa number that has been approved. (Attach ... a relative ... visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.)

In other words, you send the I-485 with the I-130. The I-130 is the "relative visa petition" filed with the application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if the application is approved.

Good luck!

AJ

when you lack interpretation skills .. it's hell of a thing... you just joined here 8 days ago and have already a bad attitude..? you are trying to complete the AOS process and you lack all the basic comprehension skills. You asked if it was "B" and I gave you a thumbs up like this - - > good.gif but you could not interpret it as a "yes"? Kick rocks you too backwards go back to moco

what you took as an insult was in Ricardo's signature and had nothing to do with you or your question.

The person above him answered your question thoroughly and instead of saying thank you to them, or asking for clarity from Ricardo, you come back telling Ricardo that he has no business posting on this board??? seriously? A member who has been here for over a year and helped many people in this process has no business posting??

Not everybody is going to get along, it's not always easy to decipher what someone means by a post on a message board, but instead of getting upset it's best to ask for clarification.

Best of luck in your journey (F)
