Ive been in Argentina since may 24 of 2011 but left on july 31 but only for 2 weeks and came back and have been with my spouse ever since but I didn't get a visa nor do I have a temporary residence card. Do I have to get one or do I just show copies of my flight tickets? The only problem is that the house is under his mother's name not his and we do not own anything together. Can I just add pictures with the petition or do I get a lawyer to make a form saying he helps out with the house payments and also for the 3rd party witnesses do I have to get a lawyer for that or how is that done? Thanks

If you're trying to show your presence in Argentina, you can use the following:

entry/exit stamps in your passport

boarding passes for flights in and out (tickets do not show you actually took flights)

something like ATM receipts from banks in Argentina that would show you were present

receipts from buses/hotels/restaurants and so on that you two have used in traveling or going out together

(get creative on this if you don't yet have a joint bank account or anything of that nature)

If you live together in his mom's house and want to show your joint residence, either have his mom write and sign a statement saying she rents to you two and knows you are living there together as husband and wife during the following dates or buy a book of blank receipts at an office supply store, make up receipts of paying rent to mom, and then provide some evidence that both you and your husband reside there. The first option is probably the easiest.

Don't overthink this: you don't need to apply for Argentinian residency if you don't intend to live there long term and as long as your visa status is kosher with the authorities there.

You should not need a lawyer for any stage of this if there is nothing unusual about your case (stop worrying about your ages; that isn't reason for a lawyer, for instance). A few photos of you two with family members and friends (send just a few key ones with the I-130 and then bring updated ones for the interview) will be good to include. Affidavits expressing knowledge of your bona fide marriage are good and you can include one or two with the I-130 and then maybe one or two more at the interview if you are short on other evidence of co-mingling your lives (e.g., bank accounts, insurance, vehicle, home, etc.).

No need for lawyers and official translators (your other post) and expensive, time-consuming nonsense. This is an easy process if you follow the instructions.

Time to calm down. If you didn't need a visa to visit the country then you wouldn't have one. Your passport stamps show you are there. If his mother doesn't speak or write English, write the letter for her and have her sign it. Evidence of all the time you've spent together is not needed until the interview. Concentrate on what is actually needed now.
