AOS- 325 A Please Help!

Dear Members,

I am in the process of gathering all required documents for the k-1/married AOS.

1.When filling the 325A form for k1 visa petition I made a mistake - where it asks family name of the beneficiarary's parent's I put their middle names. Now I am filling the same 325A for the AOS and want to correct this. How should I go about this?

2. In regards to the Sponsor's I-864 where it asks for bank statements can I use the same one's I used for the k1 petition. They will be several months outdated?

All the papers must be new and updated. This is a new process, new forms, new evidence papers etc.

Not sure why you did not correct the error at the interview before entering the USA. You can fill the form out correctly and see if you get an RFE for evidence or you can include a letter with it explaining the previous mistake on the I-129F but i doubt it is needed considering you have to send a copy of the beneficiary's birth certificate.
